Freedom of speech working against freedom of belief..

Probably the danish newspaper didn`t anticipate the violence muslims are displaying across the globe now.Besides burning the nordic embassies,muslims are also boycotting their goods.The impact is great, so much that Denamark stands to lose 36 billion dollars in lost exports if this continues till summer.Meanwhile, europeans are showing support to the Danes by publishing the same caricatures and defending the freedom of speech.This is a clash between civilizations,one which we don`t know the ramificitions of it and when it`s expected to end.
Europe and U.S are trying to calm the muslims,but there is no persuasion in this matterAs if Iraq war and Iran nuclear programme wasn`t enough,the caricatures published in west are making the matters worse in that embattled region.One can hope, that it`s difused before it erupts to unproportional levels.The protests have engulfed many muslim countries as well as Europe itself.Iran has called for publishing holocaust caricatures to get even, with what it describes the greatest offense against their religion.Also the shiite leader Al Sadr called for muslims to unite and give the right response to the West.This is maybe the beggining of what could have repercussions for many european countries in terms of trade and political relations.
